Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Atiku defeats Buhari in Abia
Atiku Abubakar has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in Abia State in the 2019 presidential poll.
The PDP candidate polled a total of 219,698 votes to defeat Buhari who polled a total number of 85,058 votes in the state.
The total number of registered voters in the state is 1,793,861 while total number of accredited voters is 361,561.
The total number of votes cast is 344,471 while the total number of valid votes is 323,291.

The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja. This is the ninth out of 36 states and the FCT to have been officially announced.
