Commercial bus driver stabs LASTMA official with broken bottle
A LASTMA official identified as Yusuf was allegedly stabbed with a broken bottle by a commercial bus driver on Wednesday.
Yusuf was said to be in the process of impounding the driver’s vehicle for stopping to pick passengers on the highway when he went berserk.
A witness said, “The LASTMA official arrested the bus driver for disobeying traffic law, both the driver and his conductor stripped naked.
“They tried to run away but the driver had a minor accident. He got out of the car and started running after the LASTMA official before he stabbed him.”
Commercial bus drivers in the state are known to be habitual breakers of traffic law.
