Chelsea loses to Bayern Munich due to poor training-Nigerian Bayern Munich fans
The Nigeria international believes Chelsea were largely punished for their slow start in Tuesday’s game
The show has’t started but the dress rehearsals have shown the Blues mixed reactions to their events in China.
Some explanations on why Chelsea lost to Bayern Munich in Tuesday’s International Champions Cup match in Singapore have been offered by players and staff.
The Premier League champions were beaten 3-2 by the Bundesliga Kings and for Moses, Chelsea were largely punished for their slow start in Tuesday’s game
“It was a good competitive game,’ acknowledged Moses. ‘Bayern are a good side and this is our third game of the pre-season and we were a little bit flat first half.
“They scored three good goals but that is something we need to work on at the training ground, to make sure we correct that. We have good players who know what’s right and what’s wrong and we will get there, it was just one of those games.
“It was a slow start. This was a pre-season game and we must just get ourselves back fit again and keep on working hard in training. We played a very good side and it is something we have to work on and take on from there”, he said.
Indications of rising levels of fitness were there when the Blues reacted to going 3-0 down and finished the first and the second halves as the stronger side.
Perhaps their loss may be connected to the distraction caused by Brazilian defender, Kenedy’s itchy fingers that couldn’t stay off social media.
