Buhari: Ministers snub Osinbajo’s Aso Rock meeting as resting President stays home
April 27, 2017
Many members of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet reportedly failed to attend Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) meeting.
Buhari, who said he was resting at home, had asked Vice President Osinbajo to chair the meeting.
Reports say as many as 15 of 33 ministers failed to show at the Osinbajo-led meeting.

Nigeria’s information ministry is yet to comment on the report. Segun Adeyemi, who is media aide to information and culture minister Lai Mohammed, did not respond to our questions.
Buhari apparently missed the meeting due to ill health.
It’s the third time in a row the President, since returning from a medical trip to London, would fail to show at FEC meeting.
