Buhari jets out again, to interact with Nigerian citizens in France

President Muhammadu Buhari will, later today, depart Abuja for Paris, France.

He is set to participate in the first edition of the Paris Peace Forum, which will kick off on Sunday, November 11 to Tuesday, November 13.

Buhari, who has not engaged citizens in the country in any interactive session for over three years, said he’ll have an interactive session with the Nigerian Community in France before he returns to Abuja.

The President, in a statement Friday morning, said that the Forum, organised by the French government, is “based on the simple idea that international cooperation is key to tackling global challenges and ensuring durable peace.”

He said he’ll also join the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres and other world leaders in discussing contributions towards global peace while underscoring the imperative of collective action.
