Brother of top ‘Eiye confraternity’ leader allegedly kills local Ifako-Ijaiye resident
There has been a lot of controversies generating over the death of a popular man identified as Akinwumi Olalekan raising fears and anxiety among residents of Ifako Ijaiye, Ojokoro Local Council Development Area Lagos.
A source told our correspondent that Kunle who is said to be the brother of Sola Dangote, a top Eiye cultist (number 2) in the area was responsible for the murder of the deceased.
Although, the reason for the alleged murder was not revealed; but it might not be far from issues ranging from money, reprisal attacks, ‘women palaver’ and other trivial issues.
In Lagos at the moment, cult groups are everywhere with more and more people, mainly youths, joining. The cult members’ thirst for blood leaves residents fearful for their lives as they seem to be spread all across the metropolis.
Although they are dubbed members of secret cults, these young men and women now operate in broad daylight with impunity. Each time their rivalry breaks out, violent clashes follow, blood flows, people die prematurely.
The victim’s corpse has been evacuated and deposited at a mortuary in Lagos.
