BREAKING: Explosions rock “opposite CBN quaters” in Maiduguri
Bomb blasts rocked Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Friday morning.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the attacks believed to have been carried out by Boko Haram suicide bombers.

Reports say the attackers only succeeded in killing themselves after detonating their suicide vests near a filling station opposite CBN quarters.

The bombing came two days after Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said Boko Haram was effectively degraded and so couldn’t carry out daunting attacks.
“But we are still very careful,” Osinbajo had said.
