BREAKING: Acting President Osinbajo fires DSS boss after National Assembly saga
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has made a scapegoat of the Director-General of DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura, after operatives laid siege at the National Assembly early Tuesday morning.
Nigerians had hit out at Osinbajo following the saga, accusing him of being behind the operatives’ presence at the Senate building.
Osinbajo, this afternoon, directed the termination of the appointment of Daura with immediate effect.
Daura has been ordered to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.
Nigerians say this is the most responsive the Buhari-administration has been to a crisis since coming to power.
