BIZARRE: Man “beats little son to death” in Port Harcourt
A man has been reportedly arrested in Port Harcourt after he allegedly beat his own osn to death on Saturday.
An Instagram user, George, said the unnamed man and his wife – the boy’s stepmother – were fond of maltreating the little boy.
George said he got to know of the boy’s plight on Tuesday when he was allegedly caught stealing doughnut from a shop on his way to school.
Rather than get angry at the boy, the shop owners had reportedly given him more doughnut and soft drink and told him to go.
“They all claimed that his father and stepmum have the habit of starving and beating him to stupor on daily basis,” George narrated.
“I saw so many scars on his body. I took the boy to my house, interviewed him, and he told me so many things. How he has been suffering since his mother left his father.
“I gave him some biscuits, asked him to come and eat at my place anytime and promised to see his father this week before he left for school.”
He further narrated that he woke up to the news that the little boy’s father had beaten him to death on Saturday morning.
The man and the stepmom have reportedly been handed to the police.
The identities of the man, his wife, and the boy are unknown at the time of filing this report.
