Betway Donates Football Kit To Nigerian National Amputee Football Team
Football is rightfully called the number one sporting activity in the world. It plays an important role in the lives of many. Football is even more significant to people with limited physical abilities in Nigeria.
As an effort to improve the growth of the sport in Nigeria, international sports betting platform Betway has donated valuable football kits to the Nigerian Amputee Team at an event which held on Tuesday, January 14, 2019, in Lagos.
Betway, a global brand, which is also the official principal sponsor of English Premier League side West Ham United, has been involved in many social initiatives since its entry into the Nigerian market.

Responding to the kind gesture, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Amputee Football Team, Goodluck Obieze praised Betway for the donation, support, and commitment to ensuring the needs of the team are met. He also called on other corporate entities to take on social development initiatives such as this, support the team and other less popular sports in the country.
This gesture by Betway will go a long way in improving the morale of the amputee football players who represented Nigeria at the 2018 edition of the Amputee World Cup in Mexico.
Items donated by Betway include first aid kit, nets, crutches, Football balls, bibs, training jerseys, football boot, and sports bags.
