He is believed to have been abducted on his way to Onitsha after dropping his passenger in Owerri at about 10:30pm on June 30.

Jackson told journalists in Benin City that several attempts to locate his brother proved futile.

He said he believed Monday was kidnapped because his phone had not been switched off. At least two people picked calls put through to the line on different occasions.

One of the suspected kidnapper’s voice sounded like a female’s.

Although the suspected kidnappers are yet to demand a ransom, Jackson said he told them to take the Toyota Sienna bus his brother was driving in exchange for his freedom.
