Atiku calls Tinubu ‘T-Pain’ as he critisizes the administration’s fuel subsidy management
Ex-Nigeria Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has blasted the administration of President Bola Tinubu for lack of empathy during this harsh economic period.
Atiku took to his X account on Thursday to make his opinion known.
The PDP Presidential candidate in the last elections was quick to criticize Tinubu for his management of fuel subsidy.
This comes after the recent fuel pump price hike by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
According to Atiku, inflation looks set to continue, while hunger and poverty levels continually rise in the country.

Most notable in Atiku’s words was his reference to Tinubu as ‘T-Pain.’ This sent social media into a frenzy as many reacted to the hilarious nickname.
“The haphazard and disingenuous approach of the current administration to fuel subsidy management has been the reason we are in this current economic crisis in the country.
“As things stand, there will be no let up in the escalating inflation rate, which is drowning the material well-being of Nigerians.
“It is even more worrying that T-pain is undisturbed by the hardship in the country,” Atiku said.
As of Wednesday this week, the new pump price of fuel across all NNPC filling stations soared to a staggering N1030 per litre.
This latest hike is the second in about one month after NNPC hiked it to N850 per litre.
The Nigeria Labour Congress and other key stakeholders have bemoaned this development and called on the President to revert to the old price to cushion the burden on Nigerians.
