Another Bristow helicopter crashes into Lagos lagoon, reports say

Six people died in the last Bristow helicopter crash.

A helicopter has reportedly crashed into the Lagos lagoon.

The helicopter crashed, Wednesday, minutes after taking off from Murtala Muhammmed Airport in Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.

An airport official who doesn’t want to be named reportedly said the helicopter disappeared off the radar minutes after taking off.

It is now believed to have crashed into the Lagos lagoon. We don’t know the number of people on board.

Reports say the chopper belongs to Bristow Helicopters.

A Bristow helicopter crashed into the Lagos lagoon August 12, 2015. The chopper was co-piloted by 26-year-old Nigerian Peter Bello who died in the tragedy.

Joseph Wyatt the American captain of the chopper and four passengers aboard the aircraft also died.

Six people survived the crash.

The death toll of the latest crash is not yet known. The authorities have not officially confirmed or denied the crash.
