Access Bank MD to give US university scholarships to 3 Nigerian students
Founded by the managing director of Access Bank, Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe, the HOW Foundation, recently organized a seminar for secondary school students in Lagos State.
The seminar had in attendance secondary school students from King’s College, St. Gregory’s College, Excel Baptist School, God’s Grace Secondary school, amongst others.
Speaking at the event, Nigeria-born but UK-based motivational speaker, Joshua Ajitena persuaded the young students to always strive to be the best on everything they do.
The CEO of the HOW Foundation, Anthonia Ally, remarked that Ajitena was specifically chosen to show the young students that there are no heights they can’t reach as long they can think big.
The foundation also announced that plans are in place for a partnership with Georgetown University to give out scholarships to three deserving but indigent Nigerian students to study in the prestigious university.
