Abuja Tremor: Saraki calls for calm, caution
Senate President Bukola Saraki has called for calm and caution on the earth tremor being felt in several parts of Abuja.
Residents had woken up to earth vibrations across several parts of the capital early Friday morning.
Saraki said the Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Dino Melaye, has already briefed the FCT Minister on the issue.
“We have all been feeling the earth tremors in Abuja and surrounding areas over the last 48 hours. I know that many people are scared, but please, remain calm and vigilant,” he said.

The Nigerian Geological Survey Agency says it will provide more information on the situation today.
