Abductors of Nasarawa commissioner’s wives demand N50m ransom

Abductors of Nasarawa commissioner, Mr. Aliyu Ahmed’s two wives have made a demand of N50m ransom before they would be released.

The wives of Ahmed, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, were whisked away to an undisclosed destination by unknown gunmen who stormed his residence on Thursday night.

Ahmed revealed on Saturday that the kidnappers had made repeated calls to him threatening not to release his wives unless the ransom was paid.

“They (kidnappers) demanded that I should give them plenty money, but I told them that I don’t have money to give anybody,” Ahmed told PUNCH.
