3 pupils reportedly die, 2 hospitalised after eating classmate’s biscuit in Abuja
Three pupils have reportedly died after eating biscuits allegedly shared by a student of a school in Abuja.
The deceased – Na’imat Yahaya, 14, of primary 4, Yahaya Garba, 14, also of primary four, and Moses Sunday of primary one – were students of LEA Kubwa 2 Primary School in the FCT.
According to a report, Yahaya and Garba died while returning to their homes around Kubwa village.
Sunday was said to have been taken to the Kubwa hospital, along with two other school pupils named Aisha Isa and Hasiya Haruna on the day of the party.
He died on Wednesday, February 21, while the two others were said to be in stable condition.
The incident spread panic in the community as parents besieged the school and forcibly took away their children.
