3 confirmed dead in Ojuelegba truck accident
A total of three persons have now been confirmed dead in the accident at Ojuelegba bridge Tuesday night.
The accident occurred when a truck conveying a huge load of foreign wooden sheets tilted while negotiating the curve of the bridge.
The consignment fell off the truck, down the bridge and landed on a Toyota Corolla Car and three other commercial buses (Danfo).
Emergency workers were able to rescue two trapped victims and immediately transported them to the hospital for medical treatment.
Three men unfortunately died in the accident.
LASEMA has moved all the wooden sheets and affected vehicles off the road to avoid any secondary incident and free flow of traffic around the axis.
LASEMA boss, Mr Adesina Tiamiyu said proper investigation would be conducted on the incident.
