2019 Elections: Which youthful presidential hopeful is early favourite?

Considering the public’s reaction to the prospective presidential candidates in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, it won’t be erroneous to make mention that the political scene in Nigeria is yearning for a revolution.

Since democracy came to stay in Nigeria, there has been less participation from the youths unlike how the run-in is shaping up to be thus far.

The approach and method of governance by the incumbent administration has established a debate in the public domain whether Nigeria can continue to allow herself be governed by old folks.

As 2019 approaches, there has been call for youths’ participation in political affairs.

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo didn’t fail to charge Nigerian youths to take over the helm of political affairs within the country in his letter to Buhari.

In same vein, Nigerian Nobel Prize winner, Wole Soyinka advised old politicians to take the backseat in order to allow youths govern.

So far, there have been declaration of presidential ambition from societal stakeholders who are believed to be youths – considering their age.

Following the declaration of Donald Duke, Fela Durotoye and Adamu Garba to contest in the forthcoming elections, Nigerian youths have since started to debate the candidates they would have to choose from.

Who is most likely to get the support of Nigerians among the youthful contestants who have declared interest?
