2 die, 24 injured after school bus collides with SUV

The school bus, Tuesday afternoon, collided with a light motor vehicle and a SUV leaving a young boy and a man dead at the scene.

The collision occurred on the R705, 50km outside of Kimberley, South Africa.

Paramedics found the school bus lying on its side on the side of the road. The light motor vehicle and SUV also lay in pieces across the entire scene.

One other adult and 23 children were left with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The injured victims have been taken to various hospitals while local authorities conduct further investigations on the scene to ascertain the cause of the collision..
