16-year-old Aba girl gang raped on April Fool’s Day
Favour was running an errand for her mother on April 1 when two grown men allegedly spotted her, and schemed evil.
Chukwuemeka Obijiaku and Kelechi Udobi, both 27, allegedly dragged the teenager into an uncompleted building where they raped her.
They were allegedly armed with a gun with which they threatened to shoot her as they took turns abusing her.
The incident, according to police, happened on Charity Avenue in Aba, Abia State.
Police commissioner Adeleye Oyebade paraded the suspects on Monday at the command headquarters in Umuahia, the state capital.
“The suspects are assisting with investigation,” Oyebade said.
“They will be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded,” he said.
