Youths attack randy pastor allegedly responsible for death Of 38 years old female member

The Christ Chosen Church of God has disowned from its fold, the pastor who was arrested and accused to have caused the death of a 38-year-old mother of four in the Egor Local Government Area of Edo state.
The deceased a married woman identified as mama Sarah died while in the processes aborting a pregnancy that resulted from the extramarital affair they had.
Also, the deceased woman had been in a relationship with the 32-year-old pastor for several months, while the husband was far away outside the country.
In a video clip released by Southern City News, the embattled Elvis spoke to some angry youths who gathered around to mob him, pleading that the death of the woman had nothing to do with rituals as insinuated.
He gave details on how the extramarital affair started, stating that the deceased woman granted him accommodation in the home she was living with her four children.
In his statement, he said,“It was when I was posted to Okhokhugbo branch and did not have a place to stay that she told me to stay in one of the rooms. She was my (church) member.
“She came to meet me in the room. I feel so bad. I do not have a native doctor; I do not have anything like that.”
A senior official of the church headquarters along Benin-Agbor Expressway in his statement to Southern City News said the cleric was “neck-deep” into the affair.
He also said, “What the church expected is that when you are suspended, you should put yourself together, ask God for forgiveness and if you turn a new leaf, something could be done about your reinstatement.
“The condition the church gave him (Elvis) was even clear; he was told to go and reconcile with his wife. But we pity him. He has no business with us at all.
“If he comes back tomorrow and says he wants to return as a pastor, issues will come up. But for now, he will sort out himself. He got himself to the other side; so, he will also bring himself from the other side.”
Mr Chidi Nwabuzor The Police Public Relation of the State said he had not been briefed about the issue.
