Woman “roasts granddaughter’s hands for eating without permission”
A woman has been arrested by the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs for allegedly burning the hands of her granddaughter.
The woman had reportedly accused the child of eating noodles without her consent.
The suspect allegedly placed the victim’s hands on a gas cooker until they were badly burned.
A neighbour reportedly brought the incident to the notice of the ministry.
The little girl has reportedly been taken to the Uniben Teaching Hospital for proper medical attention.
