“Wicked” uncle allegedly beheads 3-year-old neice for money ritual

Bunmi Kola mourns. She is the mother of a three-year-old girl whose head was allegedly cut off by a money-craving uncle.

Samuel Omosaba has reportedly confessed to cutting off Adubarin Kola’s head. He reportedly said he needed the baby’s head for money ritual.

Omosaba is brother to Adubarin’s father. The dead girl was his niece.

But that didn’t stop the “wicked uncle” from reportedly doing what a witchdoctor instructed him to do. Reports say Omosaba is jobless and poor. Some say that’s probably why he remains unmarried.

It is believed Omosaba wanted to change his fortunes, and poor Adubarin had to involuntarily pay for that with her head.

Police arrested the 42-year-old uncle on Tuesday.

The beheading happened at Ilepa quarters in Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North East local government area of Ondo State.

It’s where Omosaba mother and Adubarin’s grandma, lives.

Bunmi used to leave her daughter there whenever she went to sell he goods at a local market.
