WATCH: Thief burgles boutique in Lekki, steals goods worth millions
An alleged thief has been caught on CCTV after he burgled Lamore Collections boutique at Osapa, Lekki, Lagos Monday midnight.
The suspect could be seen calmly going through the stock at the boutique with a torch. He spent at least two hours while carrying out the heist.
He was said to have stolen shoes, bags, clothes and money worth millions of Naira.
A friend of the boutique’s owner said the suspect walks with “a very noticeable limp.”
“Such a wicked person. He damaged the burglary proof and entered through the window,” he said.
“Robbery went on for almost 2 hours! Clearly unbothered. He actually checked the shoe and dress sizes before stealing them. He stole heaps and heaps and threw them out the window.
“Watching the CCTV footage for over an hour was really upsetting. He was so intentional with the stealing. He sat down to count the money, looked for more money, and then started carefully selecting clothes, bags and shoes.
“The way he was so meticulous with the selection makes us believe that he may sell clothes and other related items.”
The footage, we learnt, have been handed to the police for investigation but the suspect remains at large.
