WATCH: Detained man cries, begs police to allow him go see his dying father
Some policemen allegedly stopped a bus on the Ikorodu-Sagamu road on Tuesday (today) and detained one of its passengers for being in possession of four phones.
The man identified as Tboy cried and pleaded with the policemen to let him go, claiming he was embarking on a journey to visit his dying father.
He also explained to the officers that people gave him the phones to deliver in the village.
His pleas, Newsroom gathers, fell on deaf ears.
An eyewitness told Newsroom that he also had issues with the policemen over tinted windows permit and he was asked to pay N20,000. He was, however, released after putting a call through to the Lagos State Police Command.

“These guys are so rude to young Nigerians, checking phones and hitting them with objects,” the eyewitness told us.
The identities of the policemen are not known.
