The state governor, Godwin Obaseki signed a N150 billion budget into law last December.

Obaseki had proposed a budget of N146 billion to the State House of Assembly, but the lawmakers increased the budget by N4 billion in order to “allow for more infrastructural and agricultural projects”.

Residents claim the road has been long abandoned and has brought upon them untold suffering as they go about their daily businesses.
