Wait for your time! Asisat Oshoala misses FIFA Women Player of the Year Award shortlist
As FIFA unveiled the nominees for the 2015 best footballer awards, Monday, one name that was surprisingly missing in the women’s category was Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala.
The 21-year-old Liverpool striker who is the current BBC Women’s Player of the Year was left out of the 3 names who finally made the final nomination list.
USA’s Carli Lloyd, Aya Miyama of Japan and Celia Sasic of Germany will be battling for the coveted award.
The final nominations were made via a voting process which involved national team captains and coaches of the 207 countries member nations of FIFA.
