Video: Here’s 4-year-old Ahmed sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in Egypt
An Egyptian court, February 16, sentenced 4-year-old Ahmed to life imprisonment for a murder he allegedly committed while he was just 16 months old.
In this video, his father, Monsour Qurani, is seen weeping and asking authorities to look into the case again.

Authorities have since said that it was a case of mistaken identity.
But even before the judgement, Monsour was taken into custody for four months after the police realised Ahmed, the suspect, was just a toddler.
He has since spent nearly a year and a half on the run, evading authorities pursuing the case against the toddler, for fear he would be arrested, CNN reports.
But going by the latest statement from the authorities, Monsour and his son need not worry about being arrested in relation to the case anymore.
Let’s hope that stands true.
