VIDEO: Heartbreaking moment police shoots man dead, body rejected in UCH Ibadan
A man identified as Kehinde Adeleke has allegedly been shot dead by Policemen attached to Operation Burst, the Oyo State anti-crime outfit.
Adeleke was killed by the policemen on Monday, February 26, at Pete’s Bar and Lounge of the Trans Amusement Park, Bodija Area of Ibadan.
The deceased was in the company of his twin brother, Taiye when he was shot dead.
It was gathered that Adeleke got into a heated argument which led to his untimely death, over a parking space on the premises of the park.
When the argument turned ugly, the owner of the bar, Seyi Olusa was said to have called on the policemen guarding the premises for intervention.
One of the officers then “accidentally” fired a shot which killed Adeleke instantly.
A video of the incident has now been obtained, and it shows the victim’s twin calling on doctors at UCH, Ibadan to help save his brother.
He also said he could identify the officer that fired the shot.
Interestingly, the officer still walks free, as police say they have only arrested the owner of the bar.
