Full list: US Homeland Security flags 124 Nigerians for deportation over criminal records
The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published the names and photographs of 124 Nigerians identified for deportation as part of its ongoing immigration enforcement operations.
The list, released on the department’s official website on Wednesday, forms part of what DHS described as its “worst-of-the-worst” criminal offenders register.
Although the agency did not specify when the deportations would take place, it stated that those named had been convicted of serious criminal offences in the United States. However, it did not disclose the nature of the individual convictions.
In a statement accompanying the publication, the department said the action aligns with its intensified immigration enforcement efforts.
“The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of worst criminal aliens arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE),” the statement read.
It added that under the department’s leadership, DHS and ICE personnel are carrying out President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda, beginning with undocumented immigrants considered to pose the greatest threat to public safety.

The publication comes amid the Trump administration’s renewed crackdown on illegal immigration following President Donald Trump’s return to office on January 20, 2025.
On his first day back in office, Trump signed several executive orders declaring illegal immigration a national emergency. The directives instructed federal agencies to strengthen border security and speed up the identification and removal of undocumented migrants.
One of the executive orders, titled Protecting the American People Against Invasion, directed immigration authorities to prioritise the arrest and deportation of individuals deemed removable under U.S. immigration laws, particularly those considered threats to public safety or national security.
