At least three petrol tankers were burnt as a result of the incident, but no other loss of life has been recorded.
NEMA said the fire has been brought under control and casualties have been evacuated.
The bombing came two days after Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said Boko Haram was effectively degraded and so couldn’t carry out daunting attacks.
“But we are still very careful,” Osinbajo had said.
