Unknown assailants butcher 3 policemen, 2 vigilantes in Taraba

Three police officers and two vigilante men were brutally butchered by suspected herdsmen in the Bujum Kasuwan LGA of Taraba state on Thursday.
The deceased were said to be on an investigation duty in the area which recently experienced communal conflicts when they were attacked and killed.
The unknown assailants were said to have fled with an Ak47 rifle and one service pistol belonging to the police.
The bodies were recovered by the Divisional Crime Officer ASP Kilobas Iliya who responded to a distress call about the incident.
Police spokesperson in the state, ASP David Misal, confirmed the sad incident.
