UNILAG student “mistakenly” sends penis photo to faculty WhatsApp group
University of Lagos (UNILAG) students were left with mouths wide open after a colleague posted a grossly inappropriate photo to a social media group.
“I don’t think it was a mistake,” a Faculty of Education student told NewsroomNG on Saturday.
She said the WhatsApp group went quiet after the male student shared the photo of a penis. It’s unclear if the seemingly huge phallus, photographed from a close range, belonged to the student who shared it.
“But I think it’s absolutely inappropriate,” the student who spoke with our correspondent said. “He didn’t even apologise for what he did so I think he did it deliberately.”
We gathered scores of female students belonged in that WhatsApp group to which the photo was posted on Friday.
“I’m shocked the group admin failed to block the erring guy,” our source said. Before deleting the image, she showed the chats and the lewd photo to our correspondent.
“Many of my colleagues are shocked by the incident,” she said. “But no one is discussing on the group. Everyone is silent.”
“We’re being trained to be teachers and this is totally wrong,” she said.
