TV crushes 9-year-old to death in his parents’ home
If Kofi Kennedy had a premonition that he would lose his nine-year-old son while trying to make him a bit more comfortable, he would have let him be.
Little Kwame Asamoah was crushed to death Sunday morning at their home in Nsuaem, Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region, after his family’s 34-inch analogue television fell on him. The victim had slept in the same room with his parents and younger siblings.
The old TV, Adomonline reports, fell on Kwame as Kofi attempted to move him to a more comfortable position. The boy had made contact with the table on which the TV sat.
Kwame’s mother had reportedly gone into a state of shock since the incident and has been hospitalised.
