Truck crushes 18-year-old fresh undergraduate after PVC registration
Regina Solomon, an 18-year-old Kaduna native, was on Tuesday crushed to death by a truck after going to get her Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
It was reported that the victim was standing by the roadside waiting for a commercial bus when she was hit and crush by the truck.
She was going home from Kujama, in Chikin Local Government area of Kaduna.
Reports say Regina’s mother had advised her not to go but she refused, claiming that she she needed the voter card as she only just secured an admission into the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The driver has since been arrested, while the vehicle has been impounded until after investigation.
