TRAGIC! Zamfara lawmaker loses 3 children, 4 grandchildren, sisters in road accident
Saidu Yarkufoji, a member of Zamfara State House of Assembly, has been thrown into a state of bereavement after losing his three children, four grandchildren, two sisters and his driver.
The deceased lost their lives in an auto crash, which occurred along Sokoto-Gusau road on Sunday.
According to Zamfara Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, the accident was caused by a head-on collision involving a Volkswagen Golf car and a Coca-Cola truck.
Nasiru Ahmed, spokesman of the Command, confirmed that the deceased have been buried according to Islamic rites.
