TRAGIC! Electric cable falls, kills boy, 3, in Makurdi

A three-year-old boy, identified as Daniel Chidi, was electrocuted in Gombe street, Wadata area of Makurdi on Tuesday when an electric cable fell on him.
An eyewitness, Gadafi AS, said the boy was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Officials of the Electric Distribution Companies across Nigeria have come under heavy criticism in the past months for their seemingly nonchalant approach at attending to emergency issues regarding the fall of electric cables.
