Gospel Singer, Timileyin Ajayi, Remanded In Prison For Allegedly Beheading Girlfriend’s Head
Gospel Singer, Timileyin Ajayi, has been charged by the Nasarawa State Police Command, for murder of a certain Salome Eleojo.
The Police arraigned the suspect before a magistrate court on Friday.
Ajayi faces a one-count charge of culpable homicide punishable by death, in violation of Section 221 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.
The suspect has been remanded by the court at the Lafia Correctional Facility pending formal arraignment and further legal proceedings.

Recall that Ajayi was arrested for allegedly beheading his girlfriend, one Salome Eleoja Adaidu, a 24-year-old member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The singer was nabbed near a church in Orozo, Abuja, with a sack containing the head of the deceased.
Ajayi was then subject to a mob attack following the incident.
He is reported to have admitted to committing the crime, revealing that his girlfriend was cheating.
