Three Nigerian stars among top 10 richest African footballers

African football legends Kanu Nwankwo and Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha are among the three Nigerians who made the list of the continent’s richest footballers of all time.
Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi also made the 10-man list compiled and published by French publication, Footendirect.
Kanu Nwankwo and Jay Jay Okocha, who have since retired, made at least $100m and $150m respectively from their career.
Mikel still play active football. His $50million cumulative take-home makes him the best paid in Nigeria, the French medium said.
