A 34-year-old motorcycle parts dealer, Kingsley Okolo was arrested by NDLEA officers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for allegedly trafficking £3.8m worth of cocaine.
Convinced of his innocence, Vargas contacted lawyers and students for the innocence project at California Western School of Law who took up the case.
