Soldier kills wife, self after finding out he raised another man’s kids
A military officer in Zambia identified as Pathias Mwape, has shot himself dead after killing his wife in cold blood.
According to sources at Chindwin Barracks in Kabwe, the 42-year-old officer, on Wednesday, killed his wife, Esther Mulobwa who’s a policewoman.
It was gathered that Mwape had discovered that his wife was having an affair with one of his bosses in the Barracks.
Having learnt that two of the children Mulobwa had for him were not his, Mwape confronted her.
Mulobwa, when confronted, reportedly broke down in tears, confirming that indeed two of the children Mwape raised were not his.
Mwape shot her dead with a pistol and was said to have subsequently shot himself when policemen came looking for him.
