Six suspected NNPC pipeline vandals arrested in Lagos
Police have arrested six suspected NNPC pipeline vandals at Fagbile Estate Isheri-Ijegun Lagos today.
The six male suspects are: Jimoh Shola, 23; Wasiu Adebayo, 25; Sanni Shago; Alamu Garuba, 22; Jonathan Okiki, 35; and Taoreed Saula, 33.
They are currently undergoing interrogation at the Command’s Headquarters Ikeja, and would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
Residents of the area had cried out on Thursday that people were scooping fuel from the leakage.
Concerned authorities have now arrived the area to bring the situation under control.
