SHOCKING: Church youth flog, stone “witch”, command “Holyghost Fire!” to kill her
A woman was attacked at a Lagos church after members thought she flew in as a bird and then transformed into a human being.
The “witch” “flew” into the church premises during a youth vigil.
One of the church members, a female, shouted “Holyghost fire!” as other “prayer warriors” flogged the witch while others repeatedly said “the Lord rebuke you!”

“No, don’t beat her,” two members could be heard saying. “Let’s hear what she has to say, let her confess first,” another said.
“Let her go and die!” a voice screamed.
“Don’t let her die here. Let her go and die far away from our premises,” another church member said.
Sam Itauma posted a video of the shocking incident to Facebook on Wednesday. He didn’t give details about where the assault took place.
The old woman’s attackers could be seen circling round her shouting “fire o! fire o!”
When the woman attempted walking away, one man grabbed what appeared to be a stone and hurled it at her. “Don’t let her escape,” a voice said.
“What’s my offence?” the woman asked in defiance. “What did I do?” At that point, the church members screamed on her head “ahhhhhhhhhhh!” with ridiculing claps.
The words were said in Yoruba language.

Itauma’s Facebook posts suggest he’s against such assaults. His profile says he’s “Chief Servant at Child Right And Rehabilitation Network (CRARN)”. He has also posted about rescuing “child witches” from their ignorant attackers.
“This is how different women, children, elderly persons are merely accused of sorcery day and night, tortured and killed without anyone trying to help,” Itauma wrote.
“If you venture to help, it means you are one of them and could be killed too,” he said.
