Football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, has marked another milestone after hitting a record amount of followers after opening his YouTube account.
Ronaldo’s foray into the digital world has seen him garner a whopping 1 million subscribers after the launch of the account.
The Portuguese achieved this feat within a time of 1 hour.
The football star is the most-followed indiviual on social media, boasting a staggering 917 million followers across all platforms.
The Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia star does not, however, have a TikTok account just yet.

Observers expect his new YouTube channel to eclipse record figures beofre the end of the week.
Ronaldo was part of the Portuguese team that made it to the Quarter-finals of the recently concluded Euros.
