Popular filmmaker and critic Charles Novia has put Genevieve Nnaji on his list of Nollywood’s best actresses of 2015.
Charles Novia believes Genevieve gave a double dose of talent in her portrayal of a troubled married woman in her debut movie as a producer, “Road to Yesterday.”
He applauds her acting stating that “there was a subliminal message in her acting this time; a ‘Bow down , Bitches’ underlying theme to her challengers and I would think she pulled it off somewhat to make her statement; that she’s back on the turf.”
The “Alan Poza” filmmaker put Genevieve in No. 4 of his Top 5 actresses of 2015.
He however believes Stephanie Okereke is the best role interpreter this year..
