“Return Nigeria’s stolen money within 7 days or I explode” – Jibrin warns lawmakers

The House of Representatives have sealed the office of suspended member Abdulmumin Jibrin.

Jibrin, a former chairman of house appropriations committee, accused leading lawmakers (including Speaker Yakubu Dogara) of “padding” the 2016 budget. But they denied any wrongdoing.

Jibrin was removed as the committee chair. After he went on social media to expose alleged corruption among reps, the house handed him a 180-day ban.

His office was sealed on Thursday.
