How Police officer “shot cab man dead over obstruction” in Port Harcourt
A cab driver, name unknown, has been felled by a bullet allegedly fired by a yet-to-be-identified police officer at the Rumuokoro axis of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
The driver, according to eyewitnesses, was attempting to carry passengers in his car and was obstructing the movement of a trailer in the process.
The fully loaded trailer was said to be escorted by the officer Sunday afternoon.

The officer, Newsroom gathers, commanded the driver to move his car out of the way.
But the driver who was simply going about his business, refused to give way and that degenerated into a face-off between both men.
An eyewitness told Newsroom: “He was shot because he wanted to engage in fight with the security.”
The officer, according to the eyewitness, ran away from the scene after the shooting.
The officer’s identity is still unknown at the time of this report.
