I do not think we should criminalise the act of protesting
There is nothing wrong with a peaceful protest.
Every Nigerian has a right to protest about anything.
Let the Police provide adequate security to ensure that both #occupylekkitollgate and #defendlagosnow advocates protest without any hitches.
They should also ensure that the protesters behave lawfully and responsibly without disrupting the daily lives of other residents.
The attempt to gag them will be counter productive because it will only turn these ants to giants, and inevitably help to promote their causes.
