Suspected Boko Haram terrorists bombed a camp housing internally displaced persons (IDPs) on Friday.

Seven children died in the attack.

The IDPs were displaced, in the first place, by Boko Haram’s terrorism in Nigeria’s north-east.

No less than 1,200 people were being sheltered at the Malkohi camp in Yola, Adamawa State. Many of the IDPs there are children.

Nigerian multimedia journalist Tijani Oluwamayowa said he visited the camp in May, 2015. He took the following picture with some adorable IDP children.

One hopes these wonderful kids were not among the victims of the bombing in which at least 20 people were injured.
